A $16-million Colt Worked at Belmont today...
... and his trainer Todd Pletcher would rather you didn't ask him about it.
The Green Monkey worked five furlongs in 1:05.36 over Belmont's training track Monday, according to the AP. By comparison, Pletcher's 2-year-old Scat Daddy - the possible favorite for the $2 million Juvenile - covered the same distance in 1:01.27, AP notes.
Asked about The Green Monkey, Pletcher smiled and said, "I'm not answering any questions about The Green Monkey this week. You have enough to write about."

this is pretty much the only week pletcher could slip this horrid workout by without anyone noticing. the green monkey is probably the worst horse in training right now. 5f in 105, i just puked
Wow, 105, really?. Well, that was money well spent. Maybe he can take Seattle Dancer's place in Germany sooner rather than later.
